Complete the following steps to detect any type of memory problems or memory leaks of your computer using Windows 7:
Step 1: Click on the Start menu and  type mdsched.exe in the Search box and pressEnter key of your computer / laptop keyboard.

Step 2: After the above step, Windows Memory Diagnostic window will be appeared with tow check up option. Choose whether to restart the computer and run the tool immediately or schedule the tool to run at the next restart.

Step 3: After restarting Windows 7, Windows Memory Diagnostics runs automatically and performs a standard memory test quickly. If you want to perform fewer or more tests, press F1, use the Up and Down Arrow keys to set the Test Mix as Basic, Standard, or Extended, and then press F10 to apply the desired settings and resume testing.
Step 4: After completing the memory test, the computer restarts again and you will see the full test results when you log on of your Windows 7 computer. Moreover, if a computer crashes at the time of testing or before the scheduled testing because of failing memory or other type of problem, Memory Diagnostics detects this automatically and you are prompted to schedule a memory test the next time the computer is started.
